Frequently Asked Questions
Where does therapy take place?
Our therapy sessions are 100% online through HIPPA compliant video calls (Zoom or Google Meet). Because of the licensing restrictions, Alice will only be able to see clients who are physically located at New York.
How long does therapy session last? And how frequent?
The duration of therapy session varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from short-term therapy to address specific issues, while others may engage in longer-term therapy for ongoing support and personal growth. Alice will work with you to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for your situation.
Typically, the first session (initial assessment) will be 1 hour for individual therapy, and couples therapy will be 75 minutes. After the initial session, you will have 45 minutes for regular individual therapy sessions and 1 hour for couples therapy.
Do you take insurance?
We are currently working on being in-net-work with some insurance companies. We will update as soon as we get in-network with any insurance company. While we still working on being in-network with the insurance companies, we currently accept insurance as out-of-network provider.
How does out-of-network work?
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you can utilize them. You will be required to pay the session fee right after the session, and then afterwards we will provide you with a Superbill on a monthly basis. You can then submit this Superbill to your insurance provider, and they will reimburse you once you have met your deductible. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance company to clarify your benefits, including coverage amounts and deductible details.
How much does it cost for a session?
For individual therapy, initial assessment would be 60 minutes for $180; and regular session would be 45 minutes for $160.
For couples therapy, initial assessment would be 75 minutes for $200; and regular session would be 60 minutes for $180.
