Alice

Having grown up across various regions in Asia, transitioned to the United States as an international student, and now settling as an immigrant, Alice intimately comprehends the nuances and challenges inherent in this process. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she bridges cultural divides effortlessly, offering a supportive and inclusive environment for her clients.

Alice specializes in addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns, ranging from depression and anxiety to trauma and cultural identity issues. With a Master of Education (MEd) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, she employs an eclectic therapeutic approaches. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), among others.

Alice's counseling philosophy centers around empowerment and collaboration. She believes in fostering a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, recognizing her clients as the experts of their own lives. With a person-centered and goal-oriented approach, Alice guides her clients on a journey of self-discovery, facilitating growth, and self-actualization.
